Lucian Burns, a freshman at Marathon, was named All-Keys Athlete of the Year for his remarkable debut season. He secured district titles in the 3,200 meters and as part of the 4x800 relay, along with a runner-up finish in the 1,600 meters. Burns was instrumental in the Dolphins' school-record-setting 4x800 relay, which won a regional championship and qualified for the state meet.
